Fanfare, trumpets*, general excitement…

This is just a very short blog to reach those of you who might not see me plastering the news everywhere else today.

Midowed is really happening and I am delighted to reveal the cover design! You can even see it on the Zsa Zsa Publishing website AND pre-order it! It’s right here!

Yes, the word has been tweaked, but that previous ‘dd’ was a little play on Dan and Deb anyway, and the word midowed fits much better next to widowed. Though, obviously, both words are things no-one wants to be.

Semantics and pedantics aside, I’m THRILLED that Midowed will become a hold-in-the-hand-and-marvel-at book in Spring 2024, so do expect much more self-congratulatory oversharing and toddler-birthday-level delight (and tears) for the next few months.

There’ll be a launch of some kind, and oh you bet I’ll be telling you all about that.

It’s very weird to be excited about something that only came about because life turned to shit. I’ll have a look at that another time, but tonight I just want to share with you my moment of pride that Dan’s story, and mine, is a little closer to being out there in the world.
